BitMapSounds was created as a vehicle for a group of musicians to release music not normally catered for by mainstream music labels and outside the pressures and constraints of commercial imperatives.
BitMapSounds concentrates on projects which are mainly, but not exclusively, instrumental improvised electronica. In line with what should be (but regrettably is not!) common practice in the music industry all artists working with BitMapSounds retain full copyright of their work.
